Bulk Wine Alcohol is distilled from wine or wine byproducts, such as lees and marcs. The 2 main qualities are:

  • Distilled wine alcohol 94 - 95.5%vol, largely destined for brandy production

  • Rectified neutral wine alcohol >96%vol, largely used to fortify liqeur wines such as Sherry, Madeira, Mistelas, etc
